Sunflower Field FAQs

We’re excited to have you visit the farm! Please use these FAQs as your guide to prepare for your visit. Feel free to contact us with additional questions.

Are reservations required?

We encourage online reservations although we do accept walk-ins. Please note that without a reservation you may experience longer wait times and higher prices. To save time, please print and sign the [liability waiver] and bring with you.

How do reservations work?

  • Reservations start at the top of every hour and last for 50 mins. Each reservation includes the option to harvest 5 flowers (per ticket holder). If you are running late, please note that you can easily change your reservation time online same day. Don't worry about being turned away! We will work with you to accommodate your group.

  • Please plan to arrive 10-15 mins prior to your reservation to check in. If you have made an online reservation, you have already accepted and agreed to the release of liability.

  • We will hold your reservation for 10 mins. Due to high demand, we may not be able to honor your reservation if you are late, although we will make every effort to do so. Please Note* you can make changes to your reservations online- including changing your reservation time and day.

  • Reservations are non-refundable, however you can make changes to your date and time online at any time.

Why can't I find the date that I want to reserve?

We only release one week of reservations at a time to be sure that we have plenty of flowers to offer. Reservations go quickly, so be sure to act fast!

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry, leave your dogs at home. No pets are allowed on the farm, sorry!

Do children need tickets too?

Children 2 and under are free. Please no running in the field.

Can I bring my stroller?

Strollers will not work inside the sunflower field. We advise you to skip the strollers for this trip, and use a sling/or backpack with your little ones instead.

Can we picnic on the edge of the field?

No outside food or drink is allowed in the field. Picnicking is only allowed in the private cabana spaces which are available for online reservation.

Can I take pictures when I'm in the sunflower field?

We encourage you to take photos during your visit. Please tag us in your photos using #andreottifamilyfarms. We do ask that you are respectful of Covid mask guidelines, and are careful not to remove your masks if you are within six feet of other guests. We do ask that when your photos are done, you please put your mask back on out of respect for other visitors.

Does the farm supply clippers to harvest the flowers?

We have a limited number of clippers which we sanitize between each use, however, it is a good idea to bring your own to avoid having to wait or share. If clippers are available, your group is limited to one set.

Do you have restrooms available on the farm?

Yes.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing close-toed shoes to protect your feet along with pants and long sleeves for the best coverage while in the field. We err on the side of function, so we will leave the form to you.
You may also want to dress in layers as the coastal climate can be unpredictable. Check the weather here

I don't want to pick flowers, I just want to go take a picture in the field. Do I still have to pay?

Yes, you'll still need to pay for admission to enter and take photographs in the field. We hope you enjoy frolicking in the field and are welcome to take home the sunflowers included.

What should I bring with me to the farm?

Gloves, water, sun screen, hat, clippers, camera—and don't forget your mask!
